Itinerary

You will meet your safari guide in the morning and climb aboard your 4×4 Toyota Land Cruiser, setting off toward Tarangire National Park. Delight in the expansive savannah, dotted with iconic baobab trees, seasonal swamps, and the life-sustaining Tarangire River that define this picturesque park.

Watch in awe as wildlife congregates around the riverbanks. Elephants, giraffes, bushbucks, and hartebeests frequently grace the landscape. Keep an eye out for unique sightings like the fringe-eared oryx or the peculiar gerenuk. Tarangire's rich habitats are also home to buffaloes, zebras, and wildebeests, drawing the attention of various predators, including lions.

Your safari vehicle, equipped with an open roof, provides an optimal viewing platform to immerse yourself in nature's wonders. As the afternoon wanes, settle into your lodge inside Tarangire. Options, subject to availability, may include Baobao Tented Camp, Nyikani Tarangire Camp, or similar establishments.

The southern region features expansive grasslands stretching as far as the eye can see, while the north and west are adorned with open woodlands and rolling hills. Together with the Masai Mara, the Serengeti hosts the Great Migration, a spectacle where millions of wildebeest and zebras traverse the land—an unparalleled natural marvel.

Your accommodations will be at the Serengeti Heritage Camp or a similar establishment. To optimize your chances of witnessing the Great Migration, we tailor your route and camp sequence based on your travel schedule.
